For over 30 years I have been an avid traveller and have lived on all of the continents during that time including Australasia,USA,Africa and Europe.It has been one of my passions and continues to be so,hopefully my next trip will be back to Northern Thailand and Laos where I lived for some time,I have friends over there that now are more or less part of the scenery.I seem to be at my happiest when standing in the airport with a shoulder bag and passport waiting for the flight.
People will often ask me,or think that you need to have a lot of money to do this,but with a little knowledge this is not the case.I also tend to end up in places where the cost of living is very cheap and so your money lasts a lot longer.A lot of the appeal for me is the difference in cultures and way of life,so different from how we live in Europe,richness comes in many forms,not just what you have in your wallet.There is a saying that I remember from my Army days that springs to mind,simply`just do it`!!
